The Honhaar Scholarship Program for 2024 is now open for registration. On the direction of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, this program will provide scholarships to 30,000 students annually. It covers 68 disciplines to meet the global job market’s requirements. Scholarships are available for students from 50 public sector universities, 16 medical colleges, and 131 graduate colleges across Punjab.
Honhaar Scholarship 2024 for BS Students
The Honhaar Merit Scholarship is also open to students from top private universities like LUMS, FAST, COMSATS, NUST, and the Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute. The deadline to apply is October 15, 2024. Scholarships worth 130 billion rupees will be provided over eight years, benefiting 120,000 students in the next four years.

Eligibility Criteria for Honahar Scholarship 2024
- Domicile: Must be from any district of Punjab
- Age Limit: Not older than 22 years as of the closing date
- Family Income: Less than Rs 300,000 per month (Affidavit required)
- Enrollment: Must be enrolled in selected disciplines for Fall 2024
- Minimum Marks (Medical Colleges): More than 80%
- Minimum Marks (Top Universities): More than 80%
- Minimum Marks (Public Sector Universities): Sciences: 75%, Arts and Social Sciences: 70%
- Minimum Marks (HED Colleges): Sciences: 65%, Arts and Social Sciences: 60%
Newly enrolled MBBS and BDS students are also eligible to apply.
